A while back when a new VP was asking who is "Al". I have heard and seen the rumors (etc in the company). I shared with her some experiences.

I then also shared how I became a feminist, which shocked her. She stated you are extremely assertive and I would have never have guessed that.

So positive win-win ... this past year, after a really awesome female editor (Gaby Rosales), said (gee are you published would you like to be?). I stated "who me" I am just a knucklehead who likes to toss the stuff down and I have no skills or training or whatever.

I said what the heck. She gave me some really kind words and I was shocked to hear I had talent.

I never did well in writing or English "ever" (struggled to get and maintain a C (A-F scale).

So, my view is to put copyright stuff down (thanks to Elle Beau ❇︎ and Yael Wolfe fight against the trash of humanity), and if they don't like it ... well tough.

I shared with her a story once about a current problem that I was found with Mysql Databases 3 times in the world. It is a pretty messed up bug (causes a massive outage), and I was able to replicate it 8x over and over in a few months.

What is interesting is, I stated my love for reading and arts and things like that (I am pure tech/geek/science) gave me a solution for a really nasty "state" engine issue with maintaining lock integrity with tens of devices and a single subscriber on with mobile devices.

The solution was reading the Pit and Pendulum while sucking down Scotch on a first-class redeye from LAX and listening to Rose of Jericho (BT - Adam Soha Remix)

So ... they don't like my edginess, they don't get my super creativity (which plays super hot in intimacy situations), my intense nature (I have been known to pull many all-nighters), and my pure "way of doing things".

I am a package deal ... just like you!
