As for lateness, it comes down to IMO the importance of the meeting and the amount of time one is late.

If one is going to be 1-15 minutes late? No problem. Going to be >15 minutes late? Contact the person.

We have to deal with this with agriculture "all the time".

A person's time is valuable and if one carves out time, give a range and what not.

I agree with the money, place in life, and how one dresses via clothes or the part. Judging a book by it's cover or if it is a leather bound hard cover, soft bound, or an ebook ... doesn't matter.
