As I am south of you, I had to sadly chuckle that the first 2022 paper from the Gainesville Daily Register stated no COVID cases / Omicron hasn't hit. Then I read yesterday's (1/14) and the surge is the greatest they ever have seen (like duh), and the small but largest in the county hospital is maxed out.

My view is this, long-term stays via the ER for COVID should only be allowed into the hospital up to 30% of the beds if they show vaccination attempts or the medical exemption showing they are allergic to the vaccine.

If you don't have it, then you go home and quarantine, and the police should be notified of your sickness.

No tax is required.

A lot has been made about Texas SB8 (not a fan), so I would also state, we should track vaccination status and other public places like schools and grocery stores (you can use credit cards to track this) to see if a person unvaxx'd is going in, and receive a fine unless they show they were masked the entire time and never took it off.

People will say it is unenforcable, but all I will have to say is Al Capone and the IRS ...
