We are at economic war and still are, so this technology will be used for future medical research and benefit and the European and American corporations are using this as a leverage point.

E.g. desire renewable energy? Did you know we are 100% reliant on China for this and basically economically take a knee to them? E.g. Ford came out with an EV car that could be successful but is struggling while China is trying to hoard part.

There is more too this picture then most folks realize. So yes there will be variants and the question comes down to safety and quality standards and doing it either the European and American way with high standards, and diversity and quality or doing it the Chinese way with slave labor and low quality standards. Pick your poison pill.
