Call me bleak, but I don't see them giving up, because to do so would mean they actually stepped up for something.

It is all about pet ideology projects, that get votes so they can get bank, so they can work up to the next level and get more bank.

I have always voted and I voted for people that upheld my ethics and morality. Even when I was broken due to real trauma and a GOP person, I voted for DNC folks when they were better and fit the morals and ethics. E.g. remember an Indiana politician who stated if a woman was raped and she was pregnent God intended it? Fuck no no vote for him, and the messed up thing is he won the primary and unseated a long-time good politician. The irony was I was traveling to the Bay Area and shared a dinner with a leading DNC congress person at an Asian place on a lark.

We had great discussions ...

As for me? I switched parties, I voted against anything that harmed women's and other's rights , but the kicker when I looked at the polls?

When in the GOP I was 7% fringe, and in my county the DNC only had 10% of the total votes if you summed it all up, but I still vote.

My latest thing was a letter to the editor of a paper that actually got published front and center in their op-ed. I was shocked not only was it published but it had no edits in it :)

It was for broadband. I documented the shit fest that government and corporate areas screwed others and what I did to try to help with a small wireless provider.

Now they are looking at trying to get broadband to beyond underserved.

The kicker? The area where I live has the same broadband capacity as my birth town of Cleveland Ohio ... which is crap.

I do realize it isn't about COVID (I am pro-vaccine and masks) or other aspects, but it is what I try to do while supporting my wifes business to try to make her successful (go team woman).

I don't have kids (not blessed) but vote yes on every education request ... because it is important.

If I had the $$$ I would be off grid with solar and wind (just figured it out that the winds here are amazingly strong all day and most days.

I am blessed and lucky wage wise, but I have worked 80 hours plus for decades, but with the buildings on my farm ... I would dot it up with massive solar, so I could push spare power, get an EV truck (and a Gas one since I am in an area where we need to drive 1400 miles in a day) to counter the burn.

With the spare power ... given the FIAT fiasco, crypto mine the rest away ...

Remember people project their shit on you, and don't absorb their toxins though I know because you have passion and compassion it isn't easy to do.

You are good people, you add more then you take and that is good in my book. IF that means anything to you.
