Exactly. Once a hardy pathogen is in an ecosystem, it will stay in the system until it mutates out or herd immunity is passed plus a few percentage for a "generation".

People need to learn to live and love cleanly. They need to get vaccinated so when "surprises" hit our medical system can handle the surge. The also need to understand what you are stating.

One shouldn't fear the disease as we have a vaccine, and we can adjust it as it morphs. We know how to deal with it and handle it medically.
