Fair points, but the repetitive nature of the response, but if we flip gender around and the situation, and make it about nice girls and interest and relationship longevity … . people would attack about sexism.
If say cat lady or other aspects or the fact that there was a long discussion about toxic masculinity, flipping the script and talking about the toxicity of nice masculine people while requiring the reading between the lines will go over most men’s heads.
It is akin to womansplaining about relationships. Now I get the points she is pointing out, but the question I would have to ask … does the article help empower guys to be nice … or not nice? If the article started up front and stated where it was being directed it would be a powerful and empowering article/statement…..
