Fantastic food for thought. This works only when and if the world no longer becomes competitive, everyone has shelter and food, and money in essence is no longer a must have.

You are right, one shouldn’t have to be good at a job, but that doesn’t mean that a person that is at best average should not expect to make a factor of 4 above the poverty level at their job for just showing up and existing.

There is more to life then money, but would you say the same thing about your doctor who is opening up your chest for heart surgery? It doesn’t matter if she or he goes “oopsy” I severed that ventricle?

Folks will say … well that is a different story, but it isn’t. That manufacturing line that makes a bolt with someone that isn’t good, could cause a failure on a plane that causes it to crash.
