Folks need to understand that equine life is a lifestyle that will befuddle most folks. Divorce is actually quite often in the horse industry because of the raw energy, money and time required with animals.
Folks need to understand each horse is like a car payment per horse, and it also means one can usually never have a vacation.
I have a horse farm where we have 4-8 foals a year, and we have about 20 animals on average. Toss in dogs and 6-10 cats and you see the picture. They are actually more time consuming the children. Picture a child that grows to 10 and then never grows into an adult.
If you aren't an equine person, a level of patience is required that would befuddle people.
As for the guy, he needs to figure out if he is all or not. If he isn't then, move on and be an adult.
