As for guys, the next most important thing to work on then is communication, because if they do pick up and execute the emotional and physical labor parts of the relationship … they will find out they too get worn out and need to communicate it non-aggressively back.

Communication will be key. Women of course observe and listen well, but they will also need to know that the side effect of this may require intimacy of a non-penetration kind since guys will be exposed and vulnerable in a way that can be very damaging to their psyche too and because of how our society has pounded into men they have limited experience in the down side.
