Dear Yael Wolfe,

I am not going to tell you how to feel, just know that your hair is a part of you. You are as strong and beautiful as you are. Any partner should deserve it.

I have never shaved my legs, but if this was an issue with my partner, I would suck it up and say. If you are shaving so am I. Can you help me do this so I can see the pain you go through and we can hug and try to understand one another?

If the trauma existed longer, I would suggest that my partner help me and I will do the shaving and prep work and she stays as she is while she resets her gender feelings. I would make sure to touch extra in those areas to make sure that my partner understood the desire for her was not for her packaging but what was in the heart.

I look back at my path. Do you know the women that I had the most connected and amazing orgasms with during my bad boy days? She had hairy armpits and legs. She was very hippie oriented and my friends picked on me for dating a granola girl as they called it. The thing is I love granolas as a snack with a cold glass of milk.

Do I love smooth legs on a woman? You betcha. Do I love a woman with hair where it is supposed to be? Definitely. The funny thing is with hair. It is so much easier to make a person laugh and get goosebumps, so I would definitely make the effort to make my partner squirm

Whatever instills positive confidence in my partner is all that matters. All the others including Gillette can go fuck themselves.

As a personal note, I stopped buying blades from them, and am thinking of trying to teach myself how to use an old fashioned barber razor.

As for shaving, I take a lot of time with oils, cream, and preparation to shave. I have sandpaper hair for my face, and when I am done it is literally baby butt smooth.

Don’t hate yourself, hate Gillette for their abuse that has spanned centuries.

your friend.
