I believe women should not active listen by default to the loudest voice, but if you find one being “overly” active in a group of men and you have to be there …

Look for the quietest man in the bunch that looks like he is listening to the guy and women, and ask his opinion ignoring the others.

But you also are right, passively listen if the energy or desire is there, build up women and men in groups that are quiet and don’t exhibit the same view, and never put yourself at risk.

My personal side example to this, is I started to find so many people arguing their points on political topics that the sheer energy involved in filtering, and playing social order police person, was exhausting and dealing with the troll like attitudes well … it dragged my emotions down and started to ruin my life and personal relationships.

What did I do … the same thing you did. I checked out of all political discussion groups, and stated if it matters I know now who to ask, and frankly I can google before an election when it matters.

Same thing applies to the loudest among us.
