My view (it may not be correct) is that we only want to remove the abusive forms of privilege that exists in our society where a persons privilege and freedom comes from taking from another.

In reality, I desire to see women and all those that are marginalized to have the same safety and privilege as myself. Once this battle is won and education continues, then those groups can assist the white guys that were oppressed in return.

It is like climbing up a mountain. I am above you let me help pull you up over to my level and hoist you up. When you settle, you need to pull me up as I will have exhausted my ability to do so.

If Rogan's fear is that the foot will follow instead of the hand then society truly needs to die as the oppressed that becomes the oppressor will fall and fail.

The route to equality and diversity has a lot of pitfalls that need all of us to ensure all of us win. E.g. some groups that burn a lot of energy and resources on the social order will have less energy and resources to produce, so it will require some aspects of the old guard around healthy competition and some minor carrots and sticks to make it happen.

We will know success if we produce in a way that doesn't harm the planet, and that people naturally want to have children and families greater then the birth replacement rate of 2.1:1 (i.e. growing).

Right now if we use that adage, our society has been failing for over 50 years.
