I SMH all the time …. a startup I worked for in 1999/2000 got a huge $1 billion setup. We made the tech that made mobile internet work on non-smartphones.
Now … you have companies like uber which play virtual taxi cab for billions more.
Think about the value prop on that? Seriously, a product that is not ubiquitous getting billions and more then something that was universally used by all Americans.
Shit is broken … and now we will see how badly broken it is.
