I so very much enjoy your writing as it is balanced and educates.

When I was learning how to be a feminist and stupidly in a social media group (long story great over coffee :), I stated I don't know as a man if I can be a feminist.

Why? At the time I was educating myself on feminism and taking tests to see what to study and what not. The early tests came up radical feminist with suggestion to read. So I went into groups and talked to women, and later I learned an important group to stay away from .... TERFs ...

That was an educated experience, since I felt I knew them and then I realized later ... their misandry was dancing with my misogny demons and life was "Grand" (ha no).

So in the group, holy hell you should have seen some of the leading liberal women and "proud feminists" pounce and attack. It was not pretty, but it was a learning experience.

The gift from that experience, I realized there were highly toxic people who would state they were one thing and acted another way ... misandry.

They even executed patterns of toxic culture of femininity ... but hell no women don't do that only men ...

I ejected them from my life and found better friends and outgrew them, and I am glad I did. Why? Because the time I spent burning energy defending myself in trying to have a connection and connect .... I used it for other things like finding author/writers like yourself.

For those in the past, I would say ... go build a bridge over that river you won't cross and have a great life. :)
