I was an east sider (Cuyahoga), and my running joke was even after I moved away, I had to disown my parents when they moved to the West Side.

There was a Dairy Queen in the middle of one of the cities (Between E185 and E260th :) that has been put up for sale. It has been there for over 60 years and the seasonal stand which is always packed is giving up.

It is harsh in ways I can't describe.
