IF one goes old testament ... I believe there was a saying (sexist mind you), better in the belly of a whore then spilling one's seed on the ground.

I also believe I remember for women that have semen in them, it provides additional hormones' and other nutrients to help the women keep healthy too. I would have to research the data to find the reference links, but it makes sense since mother nature does "everything" she can to ensure reproduction.
