IMO, it is not my place to care or invest time into a celebrities or another person's marriage, unless it directly effects me or my partner.
The thing that makes it actually harder for folks that desire polyamory or ethical non-monogamy is the fact that they attached her "attachment" to the separation of the marriage.
This wasn't polamory, this wasn't an open separation, this was one (or two I don't know) of the spouses needing intimacy from another human being outside of her partner who really wasn't her partner at the time.
In fact, certainly to keep assets and children and financial agreements in place it was legally binding sort of friends but not with no benefits not but before and maybe after.
This is what muddies the water a bit, and while Will did get his treasure and partner back (Jada) he was the one in a way to pay an extra cost public-ally after the event.
But even after all of that .... This wasn't about two people in an open marriage having a third, or embracing or improving a marraige through others.
This was a failed marriage on the edge of collapse that was saved because one partner's neglect and the other partners' low self esteem that had to bridge a gap between the two of them.
IF he looked pained in the interview, then you know what .... the rift is still there as he is processing pain.
I don't know about you, but I don't find it sexy or fun or entertaining to watch another human being in pain, or one person being empowered sexually in this way.
I am kink friendly and believe in a lot of things with consent engaged, but to me there is so much not right about this "entanglement". Personally, my care and concern as a human being would shut the door and let the two of them work it out.
If they were happily married and brought in a 3rd sure that is ok and great, but we know TV ... that would not create good ratings ....
Thank you for taking the time to discuss this topic and exploring it openly ....
