Isn't it ironic that fairy tales are seen as happy and wonderful, when their original intent was to scare into good behavior?

As I have shared elsewhere, this fascination as you perfectly call out is the equivalent of overly aggressive toxic porn that a lot of guys consume.

People point to the male version of fairy tales and say "bad", but keep quiet because they know censorship at the most basic level would make them the monster, but stop and think about this and how it transgresses into romance novels.

We started to binge Shameless, and there was one point where the urban city "south-side" girl who had not given up sex, got paid for it, nor promised it or teased about it was basically a reenactment in a way of Pretty Woman. You know that wonderful movie with Julia Roberts, which if people read the actual book that it was based on didn't happen that way.

So we can either ban both sorts of things (ha right), or I say something perverse. Women should read less to none of romance novels and consume them and take in more porn, and guys should do the reverse (less to no porn and more romance novels).

Both sides will say fuck no this is disgusting (or some will say wow this is yum), but the point is it elevates the desperation and thirst in heterosexual engagement where women are desperate and thirsty for authentic male desire, and men are desperate and thirsty for feminine desire (make note not the outer package).

The real reality people seem to miss is that one can have deep intimacy with multiple people in enthusastic consent poly style engagement, but it is with real desire and real people, and not one where it is a person trying to make money based on others desire.
