Laura Hunt Manville I was born in Ohio, lived a long time in Indiana, and just moved to Texas in the last 5 years, as such I so understand totally about winter!

I can sustain myself quite well in cold weather (polar bear type); however, I have come to appreciate the dry heat of Texas!

I am a person that has a very unique identity. I voted based upon my unique ethics and morals; however, I am a registered republican. See, what most people don’t understand is being born in Cleveland, and growing up there, I have seen the worst of the worst of the DNC. They literally ran Cleveland into the state (they have held all power nearly the entire time of its demise), so my ability to trust that party is very limited.

When I compare against polling and the areas I have lived, I am literally a very small outlier of voting (bests case 7% of the 1/2 of the voting populace (presuming a 50/50 split between DNC+GOP+other Voters versus apathetic).

I am a feminist, I am a white male, I am liberal, I am a Republican, and I believe in the Texas way. I work in high-tech (I am an original dot-com guy), if I wasn’t on the road, I was a remote worker for nearly 20 years, (so this current state has been my “norm” for a very long time. I also have a horse farm and I have 9 cats and a dog …

I am also a man that respects and loves women deeply. They are what make me “go”.

I have written quite a few poems you may like too. They are oriented around masculinity and romance and erotic stuff. I have other works I am slowly working on too. I am not a writer by default, I started this as a form of therapy as I broke down the male fragility brought upon by the toxic culture of masculinity, and from the hells I lived (I have real-world trauma to back it).

I hope that helps out?
