Life is about doing, giving, and loving if not to others but yourself. Simple acts, simple actions if done with focus and goodness in one’s heart, will provide an impact that may seem not observable at the time, but if observed over life can make meaning happen.
Take the simple act of walking and exercise for better health. For over 50 days, I pushed to lose weight, build muscle, purge the demons of rage, sexual desire and lust, and loss into fueling the push when too tired to walk and do into pushing into doing one more lap and to do it one more day.
The effect can be seen in the path above in my back horse pasture on a backlot in the great state of Texas. While people smartly stayed inside during Sahara style heat (110–112 Fahrenheit 43–45 celsius), I walked actively the 5 miles every day. I pushed harder and harder, knowing that the temperature wasn’t going to take me nor the heat inside me.
So smile, love one another, be friends with one another, embrace people that are diverse and different from you, don’t judge, but if someone is hard or tries to hurt you or your loved friends and families and lovers hit back hard with justice.
Remember, the hardest part is not reaching the top of the mountain, but waking up every day and saying I am going to walk that path upwards and move forward and do so with a smile and warmness in one’s heart. That action may not seem like much, but if you look at the picture above, the impact can be seen by others in life without you noticing.
