Most people don't understand feminism. So the comment I would make if asked is:

I believe in equality between the sexes, therefore I am a feminist.

I believe in respect, consent and love between the sexes, therefore I am a feminist

Any negative feminine or masculine stereotype or bias, I am against, because I am a feminist.

If any label or attribute is positive about a person, a label or society I am for it and I follow an "AND" philosophy not a "BUT" ....
