Nice article on a touchy subject. As men age also, they become invisible in our youth-driven culture. Women obviously (on average) have a lot more compassion and empathy so given the choice angle they see the playing field a lot better than men is.

So if you take everything you have stated, and then add a twist that men die younger and have poorer health due to the risk activities they did "hunting" for the beauty of the body and not of the mind ... you have a pretty good picture of today.

If you wanted a bite-size my two cents and here is your pint or beer/glass or wine/shot or booze -or- a cup of coffee/tea ...

Mental Health Matters

If guys realized that a man in therapy working on his shit (or) having a multitude of good stable friends to rely on is "very sexy" ...

And not being Tony Stark, but a guy that does his 40 and is reliable and loyal ...

Then maybe the pool would get better .... but for now the shallow end for all! (sadly)
