Porn fills a need which can't be fulfilled. The repeated use of it requires more of it which leads to building negative patterns which will impact interpersonal relationships.

tl;dr

Porn is and easy but hard but easy thing. It like life is all about the balance. The core issue which I don't think people especially men are not aware of is how faux-realistic and consuming it can be.

To quote Red Hot Chili Peppers Californication, information is a drug, and in this century, porn is crack cocaine.

What concerns me is given the drift in gender, and men becoming disconnected even more so, this will be their only outlet for quite a few. Then in reality how will women really and truly compete (they shouldn't), but for men it leads to highly damaged men and thristy women who desire masculine desire, love and companionship and both are left wanting.

Women I believe get this and are quantifying the issues and communicating it really well. The thing is what happens to women over the span of a few decades and several generations if this is all men consume massively.

I could easily write an article about my thoughts on this but I am not sure where it would/should be published.

I may take the time to write my thoughts on this and the damage done to boys and men, and what I perceive would be the effects on women, but in reality I definitely would need a few women to review it and maybe a well intentioned guy like Joe Duncan.
