Thank you for defining this. I was always curious about it but my plate being full, I didn't have the time to find the cliff notes version.

It makes sense to me as I look at it like a performance problem that I deal with ... I call it the "heat" of what happens when certain transactions and work (or threads) are staged and queue.

There is an intangible "ugh" that is a level of pain to fix and smooth out. I have to spend a lot of time architecting designs to minimize this impact.

In real life there is no good design and worse there are designs that acerbate everything in the worst kind of way.

It is why I believe in media for the time being when some interracial views are seen we should show more white men and black women. This should be normalized a helluva a lot more to help the privilege of one side to help neutralize the intersectionality that ones talk.

But I digress. Thank you for the definition it was very helpful!
