The real reality is no. One aspect I have found in my travels and learning is that women have the ability to trust another woman based upon the commonality of trying to survive men or other dominating forces. This has been imprinted on women for centuries.

Men have to treat other men as the same threat because where there maybe some filters and hold back for not hurting a woman they don’t know by default (male code of honor), that doesn’t apply to another man.

So since there are so few that are open and enlightened (ish) and attempt to communicate we have to wait for folks like that to ask.

Men can be superbly brutal to one another outside of the presence of women. What makes it worse is once beaten down, or 100% alone, or once loss happens, men are like Tom Hanks on an Island by themselves.

Picture an alpha on the outside looking man, who is sexually assaulted just like a woman. If she is rarely believed, he is never believed, and what is worse the assault makes him not only question his sexuality but also his gender (i.e. you aren’t a man, you aren’t a woman, you are an it.). Transgendered folks understand this pain pretty well, but if you fall into line with CIS and Hetero … tic tic boom.

Men do have the ability to slay the external dragon with brute strength, but underneath the armor is an internal dragon that is slaying the boy trying to be a human and man ….
