This article is a good start but seems incomplete.

Women state they require safety before they can love and be open and have bodily autonomy 100%.

When they do meet up and match up with a male partner, the roles do reverse as the full power of their repressed feelings come through. At that point, the question is when do men feel they can trust their partner to be 100% open and vulnerable.

Sexual intimacy is not the end solution to this bonding but the beginning, while for some women it is the end solution to the beginning which is the relationship.

Men lack (currently) the tools and capabilities that women need as they have with other women. This isn’t about power in society this is about confidence in being able to communicate to their loved ones and friends.

Women believe (IMO) that having sex means that men are in the same space and place as they are, when in reality they aren’t.
