This can be a wonderful thing to play with a partner too. E.g. I actually have a straight edge barber style razor. Picture watching the foreplay of using the strop to clean and sharpen it and say ... move or else :)

Then picture a silver tipped shaving brush ... soft yet firm ... watching the lather work up as parts get painted.

Then the action of dipping it into a hot bowl of water and then feeling the sharp (and I mean sharp) edge touch the skin .... So if one likes heat play ... toss a large starbucks mug in the microwave for 2 minutes and let it sit ....

So yeah this makes perfect sense :)
