This is a perfect scenario for the GOP, especially if the economy craters in 2021Q1 to 2021Q2.

Also, the responsibility falls squarely on the DNC now, since they pontificated for four years that they were the adults and savior of democracy.

If one turns inward and uses the toxic purity methods as a very large chunk of the party is using, then the GOP will pick back the Congress, and strengthen the Senate and states.

That means even if there are school shooters, bring up gun control, which should only be done via an amendment. You provide more "ammunition" to the GOP base.

Go down the identity politics angle, and have the economy falter, Pelosi, Schumer, and Biden will get the full blame.

Why the math is simple.

Obama + Biden = 12 years

Trump = 4 years

Leadership failures economically have been shown that the fixes from 2008 crash were all smoke and mirrors.

So the problem is this .... we will have greater then $30 trillion in liabilities in Biden's term. IF the economy comes back and things stabilize (yeah good), 1-2 % prime rate means that the interest payments for the debt will exceed the military.

This is why we need people to stop being divisive because we will get past the COVID thing, but the economic damage from decades of mismanagement, will be a far greater wave.

Meanwhile ... people will only listen to their people, and no real conversation or solutions will be actually made or done.

Me, I am an open minded swing voter who is a liberal republican. I listen openly and vote for the best for all Americans. But the reality I say GOP, I do watch people get triggered. That has to stop because not everyone has thick skin like myself.
