This is probably the best statement out of this all. Guys that do attempt to do it, especially given the extra burden of fighting upstream due to patriarchal issues.

Have nothing left.

What is worse is for those women who has a person willing to do the adult work and without the badge or a pat on the back, sadly probably have a worry that the stress empowers stoic walls, which leads to issues with intimacy and a deterioration in their health.

It would be interesting to study this, but I have observed a pattern where guys that fit this, literally die off faster, women who I have been friends with have stated intimacy died and he lost interest, and the relationships tend to end once kids leave.

I don't have kids but I have a farm. I am the single high source of income in the house, and I do the dishes, laundry, cleaning, bills and what not.

The spare energy I have left is spending time research and learning, and attempting to communicate.

The thing is due to all this, I have no real male friends any more except those I occasionally call out electronically. I am not a introvert, it is just that there is zero left in the tanks.

I have met guys when getting a bite to eat or drink when she goes to a horse show, but honestly the lack of depth of conversation with guys .... I would rather read a scientific paper on my phone while I drink my scotch.
