This is the core issue with the binary identity politics, because if you go and have layers it destroy's a belief system as much as showing facts about vaccine safety does to an anti-vaxxer.

They care more about their beliefs and well-being and to beat their internal enemy (which is what they project) then actually have a conversation and building a layered response to complex issues.

A lot of times, I want to say stop being a radical social jihadist, and be a human. OR give them an analogy saying I as a white male am going to be a fervent advocate for black women's rights instead of an ally here to support them in a fight.

Oh hell no ... your analogy is toxic (no ... dude(tte) you are ...)

One can't have a conversation with a person like that because you know ... they are in love with their position then interested in a dialogue.
