This is the crux of the issue IMO. Women due to societal pressure have built a community in which they can find some safety. Men (in general) in our current society are wolves in the woods.

Agree with you, that is one of the things that women as they age look for. They want a multitude of passions, not just one. I don't know if it in an indoctrination from figuring out that the princess love story is a hoax and dangerous, or other things.
