Whatever can be done to gun ownership can be done to voting and speech and any amendment since it is an inalienable right.
Folks need to use their emotions effectively and red flags are very dangerous. Why? Oh my goodness that transgender person has issues , remove rights. It already happened in Texas, picture what happens if precedence occurs with an inalienable right, and innocent before proven guilty. Can you imagine if friends or folks surrounding certain ethnicity states, well I believe they are unstable look at X facts?
We are a culture of death and it is deplorable and awful. What shocks me is how folks claim there are no mental issues with folks on guns and state well they are just angry.

Folks have strong beliefs, but the best legal eagles (SCOTUS) are stating if New York rifle goes down, all gun laws can be removed. Congress law means little as 2A is worded and has been debunked on all gun control.

The issue is one of apathy, most folks don't vote and there has been more concern of a libel case on celebrities than this.
Remember Will Smith and violence? Folks that defended him ... Well here we go, mass shooters are stating they are defending something that angers them and raises fear.
Fixing this requires and amendment and it requires trust in the government. It also means a majority of 70-75% of all Americans agree socially and civilly.

Lastly, if we pretend gun laws are increased. What do you think will happen Australia or UK? Where violence went even higher and required an very high level of increase in policing. The homicides went up. Picture doubling the police force everywhere and using the broken windows philosophy used in NY. Remember defund the police?
The unintended consequences observations from stark public laws will happen.
E.g. let's remove guns from 21 and under. Well they can purchase alcohol, tobacco and guns. Well maybe they shouldn't vote either. Precedence is there.
But you know boys who are 18 have to sign up to be drafted or else they become felons. 18 year olds who go into the military are given guns they can buy. See the illogic there?
I am pro 2a but don't own a gun nor desire one. I self regulate. However, as a white male if I am told I am incapable of regulating my urges, should I succumbed to self fulfilling prophecy?
I did the therapy to fix my issues, which meant understanding my mental issues and resolving them. The fact that folks believe their aren't any just makes me SMDH.
