When I discuss it in a more public forum I call it the toxic "culture" of masculinity. It is the items and environment which is not positive within the masculinity circles.

What is truly ironic are some folks that were hyper specific that words matter, but when this term was thrown around said ... quite being so defensive over words it wasn't what we mean.

I looked at them and if they were female I would ask are you exhibiting toxic femininity by generalizing masculinity from a non-male perspective?
